In a recent revelation from Google’s 25-year search history, Cristiano Ronaldo emerged as the top-searched athlete, surpassing renowned figures like Lionel Messi and Virat Kohli.

The Al Nassr forward secured the pinnacle as the most searched athlete in Google’s history, surpassing the likes of Lionel Messi and Virat Kohli in this record-breaking achievement.

Known for their on-field rivalry, Messi and Ronaldo have elevated the game to unprecedented heights. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli has carved a legendary status in contemporary cricket.

Google’s tweet confirmed Ronaldo’s status as the most searched athlete ever:

Football dominated the most-searched sport category, while Kohli retained the top spot as the most sought-after cricketer.

At 38, Ronaldo currently plays for Saudi Pro League’s Al Nassr. Since joining in December 2022 and debuting in January 2023, he has amassed 34 goals and 12 assists in 41 games for the Saudi club. His global goal tally in 2023 places him at the forefront of scoring charts.
